Major Field Trips

4th Grade - Sacramento

The highlight of your students’ 4th grade year is the Sacramento trip. Dates have not been confirmed as of this writing; however, the trips will be sometime in the spring. The cost will be approximately $450, so you can begin saving now. The first payment will be due in September. Details regarding this field trip should be available shortly after school begins.

5th Grade - Pilgrim Ship

Our 5th graders’ favorite subjects include American history covering the early 1800’s and literature, with the reading of "Two Years Beforethe Mast" by Richard Henry Dana. In conjunction with these two units of study is an overnight adventure on the Pilgrim Ship (Dana Point Harbor), scheduled for early fall. The cost of this educational, hands-on, fun-filled field trip will be approximately $100. Details will be coming home at the beginning of school.

6th Grade - Outdoor Ed Week

As part of our 6th grade science curriculum, students have the privilege to attend a week of hands-on learning at Outdoor Science School. The date is set for October and will cost approximately $300. Because this trip takes place early in the school year, payments need to be made to the school office by mid September.

8th Grade - Washington D.C. Trip

Our 8th grade students conclude their year of study in American History with an 8-day trip to Washington, D.C., Gettysburg, Jamestown, Williamsburg and New York. Dates for the trip are in March and the cost of the trip will be approximately $2,000 for students and $2,300 for adults.
