Annual Fund

In an effort to fully fund our mission, Calvary Christian School raises money each year to bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost to educate a child. Our tuition covers roughly 90% of the actual cost to educate a child. By supporting the Annual Fund, families and community members are able to cover this gap with a once-a-year, tax deductible donation that directly supports student’s education.

For the 2011-2012 school year, our goal is to raise $40,000 as well as reach 100% parent and staff participation for the Annual Fund.

By raising this money we are able to keep tuition at a reasonable rate without compromising our mission to provide academic excellence in a Christian setting. While we encourage all of our families to give generously, we recognize that some families are more equipped to give than others.

If you are interested in supporting the Annual Fund please contact our Head of School Ben Roberson by e-mail at broberson@ccschool.org or by phone at 714-550-5462.

Parent Teacher Fellowship Fund

The Parent Teacher Fellowship raises money for specific needs above and beyond the operating costs such as: technology, campus enhancements, and teacher requests. The Parent Teacher Fellowship raises money by putting on events such as the annual walkathon, spirit day shirts, and free dress.

Endowment for Financial Aid

The Endowment for Financial Aid is an opportunity to support families who desire to be at Calvary Christian School but may not be able to afford the tuition. Currently, over 20% of our student body receives financial aid. It is the goal of Calvary Christian School to maintain this percentage. Based off money donated by Calvary families and community members in 2009-2010, Calvary has had the privilege of providing $80,000 in financial aid to our families for the 2010-2011 school year.

Once money is donated into the Endowment for Financial Aid it is dispersed to Calvary families on a need-based basis as determined by the Financial Aid Committee. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide an academic education in a Christian setting for a Calvary family.

If you are interested in supporting the Endowment for Financial Aid please contact our Head of School Ben Roberson by e-mail at broberson@ccschool.orgor by phone @ (714) 550-5462.
