Come experience THE REAL LIFE that God has called each of us to. On Sunday mornings we seek to equip our kids to accept the invitation to this LIFE, not just on Sunday mornings, but everyday. So many kids compartmentalize their "church" life from their "real" life. "Sunday morning is for God, and the rest of the week is for me." We want them to realize that God is interested in their actions and attitudes everyday, and living out that life will produce fruit.

What a great opportunity and challenge we have to disciple children. Feeling disconnected and without friends is probably one of the biggest factors determining where a kid will spend their time. We hope a discipleship group is a place where we become more than a volunteer who spends an hour a week with a child. Our goal is to create a place where kids can grow in their relationship with God and learn to love their neighbor. This hour begins with fun songs and worship, followed by a funny skit, relevant video clip, a story, or an experience, followed by at least 45 minutes of time together as a group.

We realize that not all kids learn the same way. Some kids need to touch it, see it, and even do it to really grasp what the Bible is telling us. Some kids also come to church both hours, so this gives us the opportunity to tell the same message from first hour, but in a completely different way. This hour has become such a fun time to have some extended worship, funny skits, crafts, hands-on activities, videos, telling stories, sharing testimonies, and digging into God's Word creatively. We even give the kids a chance to share their latest clean jokes with us as well. The format is very flexible and gives us the chance to do whatever we need to do to get the message across. It is church without borders and definitely out-of-the-box.
