Calvary's Leaders
Rick Bergstrom
Rick trusted Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 19 after being invited to attend Forest Home Christian Camp by a family from Calvary Church.
Attending Calvary Church since 1976, it is here that he met and married his wife, Karen Bauer Bergstrom. Years later Rick learned that Karen had attended Forest Home during that same weekend and was praying for his salvation even though she had never met him. He has been a member of Calvary since 1982.
Rick has served on the Elder Board since 2007, and in previous years on Calvary’s Trustee Board, the Children’s Ministry Board and the Building Finance Committee. In addition, he has served in various ways in the Elementary and Student Ministries departments. Rick and Karen currently host and co-shepherd a LifeGroup in their home.
Over the past 28 years Rick has worked in the financial services industry, and in 2004 he retired from his role as a Regional Vice President with the Charles Schwab Corporation. He is currently involved in commercial and industrial real estate development.
Rick and Karen were married in 1983 and have four children.
