RESTORATION PROJECT | VALUES - PHASES

Value Initiative Project Phase
Practice good stewardship in the maintenance of our ministry spaces. Invest in our church today for the future generations to come. Renovate the infrastructure of our aging campus by repairing our roofing, integrating energy efficient utilities and refurbishing our playground, restrooms and signage. Investing now in energy efficient technologies in our HVAC and restrooms will  reduce ongoing utility expenses and participate in conservation for years to come. Creating a synthetic turf field will give our children green space to play that is not all blacktop. Installing upgraded signage will help better communicate to visitors what is happening at our church and schools and help them find their way around campus.

Value Initiative Project Phase
Young families are the future of Calvary Church and their children are our priority. Make the Sunday worship experience more welcoming and convenient for new families with young children. We will move the nursery for infants to age 3 children from the basement to newly built rooms within both sides of the Worship Center building. This is more accessible for parents with young children to come to Sunday Worship.

Value Initiative Project Phase
Reach our youth, since 80% of Christians make the life-changing decision to follow Christ before the age of 18. Provide our Jr. High, High School and College students with dedicated space to enhance their ongoing ministry and reach more students for Jesus Christ. Relocate these ministries from weekly temporary setups in Fellowship Hall, Samsvick Chapel, and the Gym to dedicated space in a redesigned C Building “Student Underground.”  This will also increase capacity for after school ministries of tutoring, mentoring, counseling, and creative connection with students throughout the week.

Value Initiative Project Phase
Provide for a variety of Adult Ministries to encourage growth in Christ. Restore and equip Samsvick Chapel to better utilize this historic space and reclaim it for weekly Adult Ministry. The chapel is part of our heritage and needs preservation and repair to maximize its use for future ministry. Restoration would make it an attractive venue for weddings and memorials, as well as improve its utility for worship services and Bible studies.

Value Initiative Project Phase
Be of service to our community so they will see Christ’s love in our actions and hear the good news of the gospel. Repurpose the Heritage Medical Building to a Reach Center, creatively using its space to minister to our community and the world. By converting suites in the Heritage Building to a Reach Center we have the ability to partner with organizations to use the space to bless the community and create new opportunities for Calvary to serve our community in areas such as: medical, job placement, education, and restoring relationships.
