What do you do at Calvary?

Having served as Calvary's Senior Pastor for 22 years, I am now taking on the role of Pastor of Teaching and Spiritual Enrichment. This will still include some Sunday morning preaching, along with weekly teaching on Wednesday nights and helping with ministry aspects of Calvary Christian School.

My role will also include four M’s: Membership care—hospital visits, funerals and weddings; Missionary care—encouraging those serving around the world; Mentoring—building up younger men seeking to grow in spiritual maturity and leadership; Mission—working in an evangelistic way as a chaplain with the Santa Ana police.  I look forward to serving alongside you in new ways in 2018.

How did you become a follower of Jesus?

My father has been my biggest influence. He was a pastor for over 30 years in the same church and displayed a faithfulness to serving in the local church. My parents shared the gospel of Jesus Christ with me when I was young and around age 12, I prayed with my mother to trust in Christ as my Savior.
