How can I help at Light The Night?
Here are some ways you can get involved before, during and after to help Light the Night!
invite /// Light the Night is a free bridge building event designed to open our campus to the community. One great way you can be involved is to reach out to those you know and invite them to Calvary for the event. We’ll provide invite cards, facebook sharing tools and more.
setup /// Set-up will be on Sunday, October 30 after church and Monday, October 31. We’ll need help with electrical, putting up informational signs and general set-up.
cakes + cupcakes /// We need 500 cakes and 300 frosted cupcakes for the Cake Walk and Cupcake Walk. “Curbside” drop-off is available in the Wellington parking lot 9 am - 5 pm on Sunday, October 30 and Monday, October 31. Volunteers are needed for any last minute fixing of cakes.
candy /// Candy can be dropped off anytime at the church offices. We’re looking for miniature chocolates - no hard candy, gum or Halloween themed candy please!
volunteers /// Volunteers are needed in all areas during both shifts (5:30-7:00 pm & 7:00-8:30 pm) to help staff Lil' Light the Night, carnival booths, pumpkin patch, greeting guests, security, food service and other areas. Sign up in Children’s Ministries during the week, or in the lobby on Sundays.

clean-up + tear-down /// Tear down is immediately after LTN at 8:30 pm for a couple of hours. We will be done before 10 pm!
