Synopsis Of Ministry

The Beavers have served in the Philippines for 21 years. After teaching for many years at Faith Academy for missionary children in Manila, they have moved to the island of Boracay. Boracay is perhaps one of the most unique islands in the world with beautiful white sand beaches, but behind the beauty and allure of this tropical island, there are thousands of hurting people and in need of a savior. Dan and Tori are there to develop a ministry to reach the people of Boracay. Lives are being touched weekly through feeding sites, Bible clubs for children, adult Bible studies/cell groups, and medical outreaches.

Boracay Island sits in the center of the Philippine nation and on the edge of the 10/40 window. The Beavers’ are also building a multi-faceted ministry center with a Christian school for children, Bible school for adults, medical and dental clinic, youth center, and worship center with services in Tagalog and English. The vision is to reach not only Boracay but the Philippines, Asia and beyond by trainging the Filipino to follow the Great Commission around the globe.

In the last few years short term Calvary teams have gone to help with this ongoing ministry on Boracay. The Beavers continue to call on the family of God to come help fill the big need for missionary teachers and others to reach Filipinos in a variety of ways. They would love to hear from you.
