Synopsis Of Ministry
The Coombs live in southern Peru assisting a team of
six church leaders translate the entire Bible into
Eastern Apurimac Quechua, a language spoken by
240,000 people. The time they spent in northern Peru
translating the Scriptures into Cajamarca Quechua, a
related language, is helping them learn the new
language, but it is still a difficult task. David also acts
as a translation and anthropology consultant for other
Wycliffe translators throughout Peru.
