Don & Janie Nellis
Synopsis of Ministry
Don and Janie serve as the field directors for United
Indian Mission, UIM, ministries in Mexico, Quebec,
Canada, and Hispanic ministries in the southwest U.S.,
mostly supervising church plants. Don and Janie
oversee the placement of missionaries, including
Hispanic missionaries, in Quebec, where there is a
great need for ministry among the French speaking
Indians and the growing Hispanic population. The
Nellis’ are working with UIM Mexico in developing a
missionary training center in the Circle of Silence, six
states that total some 20 million souls that has less
than two percent evangelical Christians. They oversee
the 14 Mexican applicants who are joining UIM, most
for service in the Circle of Silence. And they continue
to develop the Alpha and Omega Bible Camp in
Oaxaca, Mexico.
