Synopsis of Ministry
Lauren reaches out to victims of sex trafficking in Cambodia. She is on a team with other women, living and ministering together. The basis of the ministry is relational - they seek to build relationships with women working as prostitutes in bars. The team has the opportunity to show these ladies the respect and love they deserve. Developing genuine friendships will hopefully be refreshing in contrast to how they are treated by their "customers" and bar owners. Working alongside a faith-based non-government organization the team offers a way out of prostitution for any who want to leave - helping women find freedom, dignity, and a sustainable living.
