Tim & Ruth Stuck
Synopsis of Ministry
The Stucks, along with Ecuadorian national missionaries
Job and Lorena Grain live and work in Uruguay. Their
neighborhood is part of the Rambla, or waterfront,
which runs for miles across the city. This area, home
to the middle and upper class of Montevideo, has been
called the least-evangelized stretch of real estate in
Latin America. Tim and Ruth and the Grains are
developing friendships with neighbors, with the women
who attend the Stuck’s English conversation clubs and
with other parents at the Grain’s girls’ school. Job and
Lorena are the first missionary couple sent from one of
the Stuck’s first Ecuadorian church plants.
