Amy’s role on the Bible Translation team is International Consultant for Scripture Use. Whereas getting God’s Word into the mother tongue is critical, how to apply it to both the big and the daily issues of life often evades people. Scripture use is about equipping people to use and apply the translated Word of God in all of their decision-making. As part of this role Amy facilitates Culture meets Scripture Workshops for colleagues and partner organizations around the world. She is training understudies and developing the materials so others can facilitate those workshops. Another aspect of her role is to mentor Scripture Use workers. She is currently mentoring a couple serving among Native Alaskans.
