Matt & Kristy Faber
Synopsis of Ministry
Matt and Kristy are teachers at Rift Valley Academy, RVA, in Kenya. Matt teaches math, juniorhigh through high school, while Kristy teaches English and
drama part time. In addition to teaching jobs, RVA has many other opportunities for ministry. Each staff couple hosts a caring community,a small group of six to eight kids, in their home once a month. Matt and Kristy have a great time with the kids, playing games, eating treats, and getting to know them better, as well as being able to pray for them specifically. As they invest in the lives of students, the greatest challenge is letting them go at the end of each school year.
