Global Missions

WWAM - Women with a Mission

WWAM is a multi-generational group of women who meet monthly to learn more about our missionary families.  WWAM is a way to keep up-to-date with missions and connect personally with the missionaries by way of missionary speakers, videos, and correspondence from around the world.

After the group session, the women break into small groups to pray for specific missionaries.  WWAM meets on the third Thursday of the month at 9:00 a.m. and again at 7:00 p.m.  Both meetings are essentially the same except that childcare is offered in the morning.

Dave & Jane Taylor

Guest Helpers, Guadalajara, MX

Ana's Kitchen, first established by Calvary missionaries Don & Janie Nellis, has had a tremendous outreach into the community: both physical and spiritual food. But much work on Ana's Kitchen and also the Minerales church was needed in the areas of plumbing, electric, and general handiwork. Enter - Guest Helpers.  Ladies from Calvary Guest Helpers team also shared testimonies and even dessert recipes.

Come hear Dave and Jane Taylor share about the team of 14 that went down in January 2010 to work for, and ministry to, the people of Guadalajara.

Pablo & Rebecca Pazmiño

OMS, Ecuador

Pablo and Rebecca are in Orange County on home assignment for about four months.  The Pazmiños have been working in the areas of teaching, worship, youth ministry, and missions. Pablo is OMS Ecuador’s legal representative, and Rebecca has been the interim treasurer and seminary scholarship coordinator. They also seek opportunities for friendship evangelism and occasionally teach at the local OMS-related Bible Seminary. They especially love preparing Ecuadorian nationals to be missionaries. In 2011 they plan to support a network of 15-20 churches within the southern coastal district.
