About Blockbuster VBS

At this year's Blockbuster VBS, we are diving into an epic story, the true story of God.  The great part is that God has chosen for us to be part of His story.  But, sometimes life doesn’t make sense: the people we deal with, the situations we face, things that happen out of nowhere.  In all of these things we are called to trust the Director of all life, God, Who is weaving together a beautiful story.  

Blockbuster VBS is filled with fun for kids of ALL ages!  Through both large and small group activities kids will experience upbeat music, explore amazing Bible adventures and take part in Daily Challenges that encourage them to apply Biblical truths. Everything starts with our elementary kids together with our opening "Show Time!."  Kids will get head to the concession stand and sample some tasty snacks in "Movie Munchies" area.  They will also get a first-hand opportunity to go to "The Green Room", where kids will act out our Bible story each day in front of a green screen and instantly become part of the story.  We'll also head to the "Prop Shop" and create some crazy and crafty creations that will remind us of the Great Story, and of course, get a little energy out at "The Backlot".  We'll also head overseas to "Out Of This World Missions" for a taste of our foreign films and hear from Calvary National Missionary, Patricia Sawo ("Mama Sweetie") from Kitale, Kenya.  Kids will hear how Mama Sweetie is changing lives in Kenya and how are kids can be a part of our special "Reach Project".

Beginning August 6-10, 2012, join us daily from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm for Blockbuster VBS!

Join our whole church family as we gather together at 10am on Sunday, August 12, 2012 for the "Wrap Up", our closing program.


There are spots for YOU and your KIDS!

    • If you're ready to sign-up your children, the forms can be filled out online in our Registration section. In order to generate the forms we need, please submit a separate registration for each child.

    • We need Volunteers to serve & lead the kids during VBS; with the help of people like you, we can offer VBS for free. Special Nursery + Preschool programs are available for the children of our volunteers.

    • We need hundreds of snacks and numerous craft supplies Donated, so we can give kids the best experience possible. Along with volunteers, the faithful donations we receive keep VBS free.
