About Flight School VBS

At this year's Flight School VBS, kids will take off an an adventure of discovering the heights of God's love for us.  One unique thing about this year's VBS is that it has been created from the ground up right here at Calvary Church.

Flight School is filled with fun for kids of ALL ages!  Everyone involved in this VBS will explore God's Word... and never be the same again!  Not only will kids experience amazing Bible adventures, they'll also watch for God in everyday life.

Through both large and small group activities kids will experience upbeat music, explore amazing Bible adventures and take part in Daily Challenges that encourage them to apply Biblical truths. Everything starts with our elementary kids altogether with our opening "Lift Off."  Kids will get become "Taste Pilots" as they enter into our "Sky Dive Diner", learn a ton about Jesus at "Crash Course Bible", make crazy creations in the "Craft Hangar", navigate through "Full Throttle wRECk", and head to "Missions Departure" to hear from Calvary missionaries from Guatemala, Chuck and Susan Weatherstone.  Kids will get to learn what it is like to be a real Missionary Pilot and take part in our special "Reach Project".  We end each day back together in the Worship Center with our "Final Approach."

Beginning August 1 through 5, 2011, join us daily from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm for Flight School VBS!

Join our whole church family as we gather together at 9:30 am on Sunday, August 7, 2010 for the Flying Finale, our closing program.


There are spots for YOU and your KIDS!

    • If you're ready to sign-up your children, the forms can be filled out online in our Registration section. In order to generate the forms we need, please submit a separate registration for each child.

    • We need Volunteers to serve & lead the kids during VBS; with the help of people like you, we can offer VBS for free. Special Nursery + Preschool programs are available for the children of our volunteers.

    • We need hundreds of snacks and numerous craft supplies Donated, so we can give kids the best experience possible. Along with volunteers, the faithful donations we receive keep VBS free.
